How To: Import Stakeholders

Importing stakeholders in bulk can save you a significant amount of time, especially if you already have a list of stakeholders stored elsewhere. Below is a simple, step-by-step guide on how to import them into the Quicker Engagement Platform.

Why Import Stakeholders?

If you have an existing spreadsheet or database of stakeholders, uploading them all at once eliminates the need to manually add each contact one by one. This helps maintain consistent data and saves you time for other important tasks.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the “Import Stakeholders” Menu
  • Under the Stakeholders menu, click on Import Stakeholders.
  1. Review the Import Page
  • You’ll see an Import Stakeholders section that provides:
    • A sample CSV template you can download for reference.
    • A reminder about the required columns and accepted data format.
    Required Columns
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Optional Columns
  • Address
  • Post Code
  • Age (must be in an age-range format, e.g., 18 - 25)
  • Gender
  • Phone Note: If your CSV file doesn’t have the required columns (First Name, Last Name, Email), the import will fail. Any additional columns matching the optional fields above will be imported if present.
  1. Upload Your File
  • Click Upload File to select the CSV containing your stakeholder data.
  1. Initiate the Import
  • Click the Import Users button to begin importing.
  • The process may take a few seconds or a few minutes, depending on the size of your CSV file.
  1. Check Results and Errors
  • Once the import is complete, a message will display the results.
  • You can also view any errors that occurred, such as:
    • Duplicate users already existing in the system.
    • Missing required data (First Name, Last Name, Email).

That’s it! By following these steps, you’ll have your stakeholders imported and ready to engage with on the Quicker Engagement Platform.
