Setting Up Platform Settings

Platform settings let you customize your platform’s identity, appearance, and key features. Only Platform Administrators can access and modify these settings.


General Details

  • Website Name
    The name of your platform, displayed in the header and in other communications.
  • Main Contact Email
    The primary email address used for most platform communications.
    (Note: Some features and tools may have their own separate email settings.)
  • First Nations Acknowledgement
    A space to acknowledge the traditional territories of the First Nations people where your platform is located.
  • Lockdown Mode
    Temporarily lock down the entire platform to prevent user access.
    (Useful for maintenance, if the platform is internal, or if you’re not ready to launch yet.)
  • Primary Color
    The principal color of your platform—often matching your logo or brand.
  • Logo
    Upload your platform’s logo. This appears in the header and other prominent areas.

Home Page Settings

  • Home Title
    The title that appears at the top of your home page.
  • Home Introduction
    Introductory text displayed below the title.
  • Home Featured Image
    The main image showcased at the top of the home page.
  • Home Page Buttons
    You can add up to two buttons on your home page.
  • Link these buttons to other pages on your platform or to external sites.
  • Click the star icon (*) next to a button to make it the primary button, which will have a more prominent style.

Appearance Settings

  • Menu Items
    Add, edit, or delete menu items (the links in your platform’s main menu).
  • When adding a new item, provide a title and a link or page.
  • Use the up or down arrows to reorder your menu items.
  • Click remove to delete any menu item.
  • Platform Theme
    Select a theme that best suits your brand or organizational style.

Conversations Settings

For the Conversations feature to work properly, you must enter certain email-related details:

  • IMAP Server
    The server used to manage and send emails for your conversations.
  • Email
    The email address that monitors and sends conversation messages.
  • Password
    The password for the email address above.

Note: If you need multiple accounts monitored, please contact us for additional setup.


Registration Settings

Customize the sign-up fields required for your platform. By default, we collect:

  • Age
  • Postcode
  • Gender

You can add or remove fields to suit your organization’s needs.


Contact Us Settings

  • Contact Title
    The main heading of your contact page.
  • Contact Description
    A brief overview or instructions for visitors using the contact form.
  • Contact Email
    Where all form submissions will be sent.

Saving Your Changes

Whenever you make any changes to your platform settings, click the “Save Changes” button to apply and confirm your updates. This ensures your platform settings remain consistent and up to date.
