Sending a Project Update

Keep all relevant stakeholders informed by sending a Project Update. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to the Projects Page
    From the main navigation, click on Projects.
  2. Select a Project
    Pick the project you want to send an update for.
  3. Open the Project Updates Tab
    Click the Project Updates tab. You can create a new update here or review previous updates sent by you or your team.
  4. Specify Recipients
    All stakeholders involved with this project will be automatically included as recipients of this update. You can:
  • Remove any stakeholder if you do not want them to receive this update.
  • Add any stakeholder from your system who needs to be notified.
  1. Include Team Members
    If you’d like additional team members to receive the update, use the Send to Team Members dropdown.
  2. Set an Update Subject
    Provide a clear, concise subject line.
  3. Choose a “Sent From Name”
    Decide how you’d like the sender name to appear in the recipient’s inbox.
  4. Compose Your Update
    Fill in the update information text area with the details you want to share.
  5. Send the Update
    Click the Send Update button. A confirmation modal will appear, allowing you to review your message before sending.
  6. Confirmation
    After confirming, you’ll see a notification indicating the update was successfully sent!

That’s it! Your project update is now on its way to the right stakeholders and team members.
